Friends part two

So I'm late only cause I got sick with the stomach flu and spent 2 days wishing for death in my bed. I finally was capable of putting solid things in my mouth yesterday afternoon, without my body instantly rejecting it. I'm worn out from it, but able to move around and work (although much slower than my usual pace) so I'm definitely doing better even if it's taking it's time.

I thought I'd have all my friends done by this post, but apparently I have more than I realized, so here's part two of probably three. Lol.

This is KT. She's both awesome friend and future business partner. Her dream is to own and operate a coffee bar and wholefood eatery, where everything is roasted in house and you know exactly where your food comes from. She wants a small bakery to be attached, but with healthier dessert options (enter me :P). Her coffee is by far some of the best I've had, so we've got fingers crossed that she can get some investors or backing going. :) Right now she runs the business out of her home, like myself. She has cats too, but her dog Stella really takes the spotlight most of the time.

This is CYf and CYm (yes they both have the same initials and I'm not that creative). I met them not too long ago and totally hit off with CYf. We went to Disneyland last winter and geeked out over that. Her husband is an avid Pokémon fan, and therefore my go-to for all things related.

I'd probably consider CYf to be my best friend here. She's one of those friends that totally gets my hectic lifestyle and is cool to hang whenever our schedules coincide. Her favorite things to do, besides going to Disneyland are to watch movies. So it's a nice contrast for me when I'm looking to just relax.

It probably also helps that she totally likes all the same things I do. Lol.

This is JW. She's also about my age and also likes all the things I do. I met her more recently than CYf, which is really the only reason I tag her as "second bestie". We're in a group together that meets once a week. Like me, her life is hectic and full of everything. She juggles 6 kids, a part-time job, and socializing. It's impressive.

Since we both live a life of crazy, our friendship is similar to the one I have with CYf.

JW likes to be out and about. We've gone to neat little tea parties with interactive mystery plays and to the movies. She likes hiking so I'll probably be doing that with her at some point too.

Every week, currently Wednesday, a separate group of friends comes over to play D&D with Husky and I. DV and GV are married, and DV is currently our DM. MT lives right across the street from us and is mostly in it for the loot.

LW is an older friend of mine who's probably one of the biggest Disney lovers, out of my Disney friends. We met while I was still working for Joann's, which was a job I had when we first moved here. I was in charge of the Education Department and she was one of my teachers. When I left she eventually took my position, and does a great job. She's also an incredibly talented seamstress.

These two are recent friends, and I still have more to draw from their circle. MF is the cousin to TL (my old partner at work). She's a ridiculously talented tattoo artist, who excels at the watercolor style. After 11yrs of sitting on a tattoo design that I made, I finally decided she was the one to bring it to life...and she went way beyond my expectations. I'll have to post a picture of it some time later. It currently covers my entire upper back and took a total of 11.5hrs, over 2 sessions, to complete.

LS is her good friend, who likes to come in and play live music for many of her tattoo sessions. She just had a gig recently, of which I had to sadly miss, but I was told it was quite successful. They're both great singers and musicians, which gives me more confidence to sing along. :)

EE and JE just FINALLY got married last year. When I met them they were still dating, and they were my very first friends that I ever made. It was only 2 months after being here, and I was working with them, as a waitress in a Japanese steakhouse. They have always been super nice to me and honestly throw the craziest home parties...probably that Hispanic and Pilipino that each of them brings to the table. Those particular clients that I have always throw the most extravagant parties.

And last for this round of friends is BP. He was also one of the first friends I had here and has since been a big promoter of my business. He's pretty knowledgeable about many of the figureheads in town, so he's a good friend to have when you're a budding business owner. He's also one of the first to pipe up when I'm hunting for guinea pigs, to test new recipes. I always like hearing his opinion, mostly because he always words it in some kind of hilarious way to say it was delicious. Last year my Chocolate Covered Cherry Cake Pops took Best in Show at our Desert Empire State Fair (I'm currently the holder of that title for all 3 years I've been here now), and his description of them were "it was like we'd just been taken out on a really fancy date". See what I mean? Awesome.
